Licensing
Overview

Centennial Municipal Code
C.M.C. § 7-7-30. Licensing, collar, and tags required. Residents of Centennial are required to purchase a dog license for each dog six months of age or older. Owners are also required to keep current contact information on file with CAS. This mandatory registration or licensing serves four functions:
  1. Lost pet recovery service—helps to identify lost or found dogs and facilitate their safe return
  2. Reduces public health risks—by ensuring rabies vaccinations are current
  3. Promotes spaying and neutering—by offering a reduced registration fee for altered animals
  4. Helps offset some of the cost of animal services—collected fees help fund the protection of public safety, health, and welfare of animals.
Please help us protect your animal and the safety of our citizens by contacting Centennial Animal Services today and licensing your cherished companion!
