Message from Mayor Noon

What a year 2009 was – endings and beginnings! I am excited to present this report to you highlighting the accomplishments made by the City of Centennial throughout the past year. 

As Centennial’s second Mayor, it is a privilege to represent each of you and to work with you to make Centennial the best it can be. I look forward to continuing the momentum already established within the City and for Centennial to continue to accomplish the goals set in the City’s vision document “Our Voice. Our Vision. Centennial 2030.” 

This document reflects the vision of the citizens of Centennial and is used by City Council and City Staff as a guide to set goals and budget for the coming year. We work for you and work to achieve the goals set by you. This collaborative vision document was adopted as a guiding document by City Council in 2008.

Centennial has a solid foundation. Past City leadership and lean government practices enable our City not only to operate efficiently during this economic downturn but also thrive when times get better.

None of the great accomplishments would have been completed in 2009 without the strong leadership of City Council and the commitment of the City Manager and City Staff. The strategic dedication provided by City Council and Mayor Pye gave the City Manager and City Staff the direction necessary to achieve success in 2009.

It is a privilege to serve you and I look forward to our work together in 2010.
