The department manages land use projects including annexations, site improvement plans, subdivision plats and zoning changes.

Our team works directly with applicants, citizen groups and referral agencies to ensure projects are in compliance with city plans and regulations.

Other services offered by the Planning and Development department are comprised of economic development and long-range planning. Under the direction of the City Council, the department strives to foster high quality service to our community while planning for the city’s future.
