The Engineering Division is responsible for development review, including all land use case applications and associated site-civil construction documents.

The Engineering Division also issues Right-of-Way Permits in certain cases.  Please visit our Right-of-Way Permits page to see if your work in or near the Right-of-Way applies.

The Engineering Division assumed management of the Capital Improvement Program in 2010 and has filled multiple roles including technical support to the City Manager’s Office, field inspection, coordination between projects, generating technical documents and exhibits, the CIP 5 &10-year plan, and public outreach. The Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) plays an integral part of the development process. SEMSWA approves all drainage reports and plans, Grading, Erosion and Sediment Control (GESC) report and plans, and stormwater improvement construction documents.
